Version 1.0 — Published October 2026
Quick Answer
Final 7 days before INI-CET (Nov 1, 2026): Day 1 pharma + micro, Day 2 anatomy + physio, Day 3 pathology + biochem, Day 4 medicine, Day 5 surgery + OBG + peds, Day 6 minor specialities, Day 7 exam eve (full-length mock finish, light revision, early sleep). 3 full-length mocks total, 7-8 hours sleep nightly, no new topics, no caffeine after 4 PM.
Why This Matters for NEET PG & INI-CET
The last 7 days do not build knowledge — they protect it, tune pacing, and ensure you walk in rested. Yet more than half of serious candidates mismanage this window. The two most common failure modes are (1) over-mocking and burning out before exam day, and (2) opening new textbooks and panicking at everything they do not know. A clean day-by-day plan short-circuits both.
INI-CET is on Sunday November 1, 2026, from 9 AM to 12 noon. That gives you Monday October 26 (Day 1) through Saturday October 31 (Day 6 and exam-eve), and the morning of Day 7 is exam day. This article is calibrated to exactly that window. If your exam shifts, slide the plan accordingly.
The plan below is the version we recommend to top-100 AIIMS aspirants. It is subject-sequenced to put the heaviest cognitive load earlier in the week and the lightest the day before exam, mirrors section-weightage so you spend the most time on the subjects worth the most marks, incorporates sleep and nutrition explicitly, and leaves two half-day buffers to absorb life (fatigue, mild illness, logistics).
The 7-Day Framework at a Glance

| 2 | Tue 27 Oct | Anatomy + Physiology | 9 h | Sectional (50 Q, afternoon) | 50 |
| 3 | Wed 28 Oct | Pathology + Biochemistry | 10 h | Image sectional | 80 |
| 4 | Thu 29 Oct | Medicine | 10 h | Full-length (morning) | 40 |

High-Yield One-Liners
- INI-CET 2026 is on Sunday Nov 1, 9 AM to 12 noon; last 7 days are revision-only.
- 3 full-length mocks is optimal in the final week; more causes burnout.
- Sleep 7-8 hours nightly; one night under 5 hours drops performance 20-30 percent.
- No new topics after Day 1; new content yields less than revision in 7 days.
- Caffeine stops at 4 PM to protect night sleep.
- Image training yields the highest marginal gain per hour in week 7.
- Recent advances cluster is 10-20 marks on INI-CET; dedicate 1 hour daily to it.
- Mute aspirant WhatsApp groups by Day 3 to protect cognitive bandwidth.
- Exam-day food should be familiar; no new or heavy foods in last 3 days.
- Arrive 90 minutes early at exam center on Day 7.
- Carry admit card plus original photo ID plus 2 recent photos.
- Full-length mocks go Day 1, Day 4 and Day 6 — Day 6 is the dress rehearsal.
- Day 7 evening: pack bag, no study after 7 PM, lights out 10:30 PM.
- Post-exam, do NOT discuss MCQs — it only raises anxiety for the next candidate.
- 4-7-8 breathing (inhale 4, hold 7, exhale 8) resolves acute panic in under 2 min.
Common Mistakes
- Over-mocking. Daily full-lengths cause burnout and anxiety from fluctuating scores. Three full-lengths plus two sectionals is the ceiling.
- Starting new topics in the final 7 days. Marginal gain is tiny; opportunity cost is large. Flag unknown topics for later and keep revising.
- Skipping sleep for extra revision. One night under 5 hours removes more marks than the extra hours add.
- Changing diet in the last 3 days. New or heavy foods risk GI upset on exam day. Stay familiar.
- Doom-scrolling aspirant groups. Comparing your mock scores to others feeds anxiety without adding information. Mute by Day 3.
